Groups and Events
Welcome to our Groups and Events page!
We’re in the early stages of growing a grassroots movement—one we believe has the potential to spread organically and reshape how communities support metabolic therapies for psychiatric and neurological conditions. As we build, our success depends entirely on the strength, participation, and leadership of people like you.
Here, you’ll find updates on emerging live events, workshops, and community meetups within the Metabolic Collective, along with information about groups beginning to form in different regions. We’re just at the beginning, and while there may not be many events or local groups yet, we know this will continue to grow with the support of our community.
Our vision is to grow a vibrant network of regional hubs and online communities rooted in the REBUILD principles from the THINK+SMART framework. REBUILD emphasizes community, social interactions, finding purpose and meaning, and seeking out support systems. Developed by Metabolic Mind, THINK+SMART provides a practical, self-guided framework to help individuals and communities apply metabolic interventions in meaningful, sustainable ways.
If this resonates with you, we invite you to help shape what comes next. Whether you want to attend, connect, or take an active role in building and leading a group, this page is your starting point. Together, we can turn this early momentum into a movement.
The Watering Hole

Hosted by Metabolic Collective, The Watering Hole is more than just an event—it’s a vibrant meeting place for connection and growth. Each month, we bring together individuals from all walks of life, united by a shared purpose: to learn, engage, and inspire new ideas. Through thought-provoking discussions, guest speakers, and collaborative conversations, The Watering Hole creates a space where curiosity meets community.
Each session features an inspiring guest speaker and Q&A, followed by a guided group discussion designed to turn ideas into action. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how they can advocate within their own communities and begin developing ideas to launch their own groups, initiatives, or projects.
At The Watering Hole, every conversation plants a seed—and together, we’re cultivating a grassroots movement for real change.

Event Details:
Date: Monday, February 16
Time: 6:30 – 8:00 PM CST
Speaker: Anna Vocino
Topic: Cooking Demonstration
Followed by: Community Discussion
Anna Vocino is a bestselling cookbook author, comic, and clean‑eating advocate who helps people enjoy real food using a No Sugars No Grains (NSNG®) approach. As the author of Eat Happy, Eat Happy Too, and Eat Happy Italian, she has created hundreds of gluten‑free, grain‑free, low‑carb recipes that reimagine comfort food in a way that supports metabolic health.
As founder of Eat Happy Kitchen® Anna has turned those recipes into real‑food products such as no‑sugar‑added sauces, spice mixes, and Cheese Bites that make it easier to enjoy low‑carb eating at home and on the go. A long‑time podcaster and performer, she explains food and lifestyle change in a way that feels approachable and practical, helping people integrate an NSNG® way of eating into everyday life.
For this Watering Hole session, Anna will combine an informative talk with a live cooking demo, showing how to build flavorful, low‑carb meals as part of a metabolic‑friendly kitchen. Whether attendees are new to metabolic therapies or already experimenting with low‑carb eating, they will leave the session with concrete tips, recipes to explore, and renewed curiosity about what is possible with food.
Registered participants will receive a menu and grocery list via email prior to the event.
Family & Friends Support Group

Founded by MAMAS (Mom Advocates of Metabolic Awareness & Support), the Family & Friends Support Group is a biweekly, facilitator-led support group for anyone supporting a loved one through mental health or brain-based challenges. Inspired by Al-Anon traditions, it offers a safe, compassionate space to share experiences and explore practical solutions rooted in metabolic health.
MAMAS is one of the first autonomous groups seeded by Metabolic Collective, reflecting our commitment to fostering community-led initiatives.
